 Mark Zdrojewski

Mark Zdrojewski

Chair

Mark Zdrojewski comes to Habitat for Humanity with a lifetime of knowledge in the construction industry. Born into a family-owned custom home building and remodeling company, Mark worked alongside his father building over 300 homes. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Master’s Degree in Aging and Neuroscience at USF College of Medicine. After working in research labs at USF Center of Excellence in Aging and Brain Repair, he found his calling to use his construction upbringing and medical knowledge to help others. At 28 years old, Mark scored in the 99th percentile for the State of Florida Certified Building Contractors licensing exam. He used his license to qualify his own community development company and a non-profit home repair organization that provided services to low-income seniors and for people with disabilities to stay in their homes. He is President of Strobel Design Build, a long-standing successful design and building company in the area, Vice Chairman of NARI National Membership Committee, and Chairman of the Education Committee for the local NARI Chapter.

Damon Moorer

Damon Moorer

Vice Chair

Damon Moorer is president and CEO of TCM Bank, N.A., ICBA Bancard’s credit card bank, which provides payment services exclusively for community banks, including a fully branded consumer and business credit card program equipped with chip and mobile technologies. As president and CEO, Moorer provides leadership, direction and guidance to advance the bank’s profitability, growth and performance. In 2016, he was also named a director of the bank. He previously served as TCM Bank’s COO and has more than 20 years experience in the payments industry with expertise in credit products, loyalty, data security and operations. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a member of ISACA, which offers industry-leading knowledge, standards, credentialing and education for information security professionals. He holds a BS in Information Systems Security from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. He is also a graduate of the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida.

Dayna Santana

Dayna Santana

Vice Chair

Dayna Santana is a Tampa native with over 20 years of real estate and mortgage lending experience and currently is a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker and owner of Blackacre Florida, LLC. and licensed mortgage loan originator and owner of Blackacre Mortgage, LLC. . From 2012-2017, Dayna joined Bank of America’s team lending her knowledge and expertise in various projects which included serving as an expert witness at foreclosure trials, compliance and risk, quality control and most recently, the REO Donations Team. Here, she identified eligible properties directly matching them with non-profits to help them continue supporting families. In this capacity, she has represented Bank of America at many of the donation recipient recognition ceremonies in local markets across the country. Dayna has played an integral part in the Bank’s efforts to improve communities, reduce neighborhood blight and give back to the military and low-to-moderate income communities. Dayna holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of South Florida in Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Regulations and Policy from the University of Florida and a law student at WMU Cooley Law School. Dayna is a former Guardian ad Litem where she advocated for abused and neglected children.

Mike DeMare, CPA, LCAM

Mike DeMare, CPA, LCAM

Treasurer

Mike was raised in Tampa, Florida and educated at Tampa Jesuit High School. Upon graduating from Jesuit, Mike attended the University of Florida where he earned his Bachelor’s in Science and Master of Accounting degrees from the Fisher’s School of Accounting with a specialization in auditing.
For nearly 10 years after graduating from the University of Florida, Mike developed his craft of auditing financial statements within numerous industries, including the Not-For-Profit sector. For four years, up through the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016, Mike was the lead on the Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County Florida, Inc.’s financial statement audit. And in May 2017, Mike decided to branch off on his own to begin his own CPA firm – affinityCPA, where, among other practice areas, he has continued providing audit and accounting services for Not-For-Profit entities, including other Habitat For Humanity affiliates throughout the state of Florida.
During his professional career, Mike has felt an increasing need to give back to the community through volunteer work. As such, in addition to being on Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County’s finance committee, Mike is also the Treasurer on both his HOA and Condominium Boards, the Treasure on the Florida West Coast Employee Benefits Council, and a Trustee of his local special taxing district. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida, and member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He is also Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM). Mike is heavily involved with, and enjoys the challenges that come with, his lifelong pursuit of fitness. During his downtime, Mike tries to spend as much quality time as possible with his wife and two young children.

Dr. Alisa Žujović

Dr. Alisa Žujović

Secretary

Dr. Alisa M. Žujović (Lisa) has been with Hillsborough Community College (HCC) in Tampa, FL since 2004, and currently serves as Director of Institutional Research and Grants within the Division of Strategic Planning & Analysis. Lisa received both her B.A. and M.S. degrees from the University of Louisiana-Monroe in Psychology, and her Ph.D. at the University of South Florida in the Educational Measurement and Evaluation program (Curriculum and Instruction). She serves as an evaluator on the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools- Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) registry in the area of Institutional Effectiveness, and as chair of HCC’s Institutional Review Board. Additionally, Alisa has worked with members of the Helios Education Foundation, the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, the Florida College Access Network (FCAN), Hillsborough County School District, and the University of South Florida on initiatives aimed at increasing postsecondary attainment. Lisa is married, and the proud mom to five children. She is a volunteer track coach for the Phase I Track Club, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and speaks conversational Spanish and Serbian.

Dane Blunt

Dane Blunt

Board Member

Dane Blunt is a multifaceted lawyer with more than a decade of commercial real
estate and construction industry experience. Clients benefit from the holistic perspective he has gained by working on real estate projects from the inception of deals through the resolution of disputes. His deep understanding of the issues and complexities surrounding real estate and construction projects enable him, on the front end, to proactively protect client interests while minimizing the costs and risks associated with disputes that may arise. Dane’s clients include owners, investors, lenders, developers, general contractors, and commercial landlords and tenants. He also represents institutional lenders, including CMBS lenders, in negotiating, documenting, and closing complex commercial loans of all types. In addition, he routinely represents lenders, servicers, and mortgage investors in foreclosure actions and other loan, guaranty, and security agreement enforcement proceedings. Dane is the co-manager of the Tampa National Trial Practice Group.

Jake Emerson

Jake Emerson

Board Member

Jake Emerson is a Project Manager with Beck. He has been with Beck since 2006 and holds a Master of Science / Building Construction and a Bachelor of Science / Business Administration from the University of Florida. An Accredited LEED Professional, he is also a member of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and NEXGEN Leadership Program. Jake’s project experience includes The Dali Museum, The James Museum of Western + Wildlife Art, and Tyrone Square Mall Renovations in St. Petersburg, Florida. Tampa projects include: University of South Florida Marshall Student Center, Epicurean Hotel, University of Tampa Kennedy Place, Park Centre at Telecom Park, and General Electric Phase III.

Roland JeanCharles

Board Member

Roland JeanCharles hails from Brooklyn, NY by way of Haiti on the Island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean. Roland JeanCharles is the property manager at PMI JCM Realty Group where the motto is to manage properties from an asset management perspective. Roland is a Father of two and loves to travel. Roland is fluent in two languages and wants to learn 3 more languages. Roland is a board member for the Redefiners World Languages where he has helped with fundraising and helped build relationships with PwC that performed $400,000 of pro-bono work. Redefiner‘s mission is to teach children multiple languages (mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic). Roland is also a board member for the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) where he was asked to serve as golf director and was later elected to the board for a two year term where he currently serves as the Government & Technology Director. CABA is a business association with almost 400 small business members. Roland was also an Ambassador on the BNI TAMPA Regional team and served as the President of the BNI Elevated Connection Chapter for the 2020/2021 leadership term. BNI Tampa has over 1000 members and is one of the largest BNI Regions in the US. Roland has a Master’s Degree from Hofstra University and was awarded a National Science Foundation Ph.D. fellowship at the University of Memphis. Roland’s goal in life is to ultimately become a philanthropist that changes the fortune of the people of Haiti. Roland enjoys traveling, happy hours, fitness and becoming his genetic best both mentally and physically.

Jason Lambert

Jason Lambert is a construction and real estate partner at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP. Before becoming an attorney, Jason spent ten years in the construction industry as a project and operations manager, and now uses that experience to efficiently and effectively represent Florida’s contractors and subcontractors. In addition to his work as an attorney, Jason is the current President of the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. He also speaks to contractors regularly about Florida’s construction laws and the regulations imposed on contractors.

Samantha Leanillo, CISA

Samantha Leanillo, CISA

Board Member

Samantha Leanillo is Information Security Officer of TCM Bank, N.A., providing payment services exclusively for community banks, including consumer and business credit card programs. As Information Security Officer, Samantha brings a background of 10 years within legal, security, and compliance. She provides organizational solid management and control development skills with a high degree of technical knowledge resulting from hands-on information security experience. As a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Samantha oversees all information security controls at the Bank to ensure effectiveness against emerging threats and compliance with regulatory obligations. She is also responsible for educating staff on security awareness tactics and measures.

Leroy Moore

Leroy Moore is Chief Operating Officer of Tampa Housing Authority. Mr. Moore has worked in the real estate development arena since 1984 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer with the Tampa Housing Authority. In this position, Mr. Moore oversees all aspects of the Authority’s Office of Operations and Real Estate Development including high profile projects such as HOPE VI Redevelopments, long range capital planning, leading the massive 12 city block mixed-use redevelopment project known as Encore, as well as strategic business
planning and corporate vision management. Prior to joining Tampa Housing Authority in May 1998, Mr. Moore operated his own consulting firm providing national training and professional organizational management and analysis to Public and Indian Housing Authorities throughout the United States. He has held Director level positions in a number of housing authorities including Memphis, Peoria, Oakland, and Atlanta; and in 1995 was selected to provide professional services to the Court appointed Receiver for the District of Columbia Housing Authority in
Washington DC under contract with the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development. He is regularly called on to give speeches and presentations at local and national conferences and industry meetings.

Shawn Rupp

Shawn Rupp

Shawn Rupp is a commercial real estate agent who specializes in investment sales, specifically apartment communities. He has been selling commercial real estate in the Tampa Bay market since 2002 and has closed over $500 million in real estate transactions in his career. In 2012, he wrote a book for office tenants on how to negotiate the best terms for their leases and has owned, leased, operated, or sold hundreds of properties. In his free time Shawn enjoys spending time with his family, sings in a country band, and is a licensed skydiver and scuba diver.

Lisa Steinagel

Lisa Steinagel

Board Member

Lisa Steinagel joined the Board of Directors in 2018. She has worked in the Financial Institution industry for over 35 years and is currently the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management with CenterState Bank. This expertise in risk and compliance assists Habitat Hillsborough to be a safe and sound organization. Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Leo College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She is a Certified Risk Management Assurance Professional, a Certified Internal Bank Auditor and also holds a certification in Loan Review. Lisa has served as a Director of the Suncoast Bankers Compliance Association and is a member of the Institute of Internal Audit.

Jeremy Swinyer

Jeremy Swinyer

Board Member

Jeremy Swinyer is from the Tampa Bay area and is a graduate of Florida State University’s College of Business and is in sales with Argos USA. After a brief stint in the hotel business after college he found his first opportunity in the ready mix concrete and block business. His concrete experience has taken him from Jacksonville to Tallahassee and then back home to Tampa over the last 20 years. He has held numerous sales and operational leadership roles during his time in the business. In addition to his duties for Habitat for Humanity, Jeremy has also worked locally with both the Metropolitan Ministries and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. He has been happily married to his wife Jennifer for 18 years and is the father of two beautiful daughters, Laura and Hannah and they reside in Odessa in Northwest Hillsborough county. In addition to pulling for the local sports teams, he enjoys fishing and golf when time permits.

Jarrod Wallach

Captain Jarrod Wallach is a New York transplant who has been living in Tampa since 2014. Jarrod came to Tampa with an extensive background in sales and marketing in various cell phone providers such as Sprint, AT&T and Verizon. Before leaving New York, he was the Regional Event Coordinator for Verizon. After moving to Tampa, Jarrod entered the realm of small business marketing; providing print, signage, promotional and apparel products to businesses with the expertise of a marketing manager. Shortly after, he decided to open his own company. He now owns iR Marketing; selling print, signage, apparel, web services and video services to businesses of all sizes. He also consults with businesses to fine tune their marketing/sales strategies and get more for their buck. In 2018, Jarrod went back to school for his Captain‘s license and also opened a fishing charter business in Tampa Bay. This gives Jarrod the ability to share his joy of the water with others, turning his favorite hobby into a business. Jarrod also supports Captains for Clean Water, which is a charity nonprofit organization advocating for clean water and healthy estuaries across Florida. Working Monday-Thursday on land and Friday-Sunday on the water, Jarrod has a large book of clients and friends in the Tampa area. In 2019, Jarrod was part of Habitat Hillsborough’s first fundraising committee and as its chairman grew the committee to over 9 members and raised over $150K, in their first year. As Jarrod continues to grow his network and influence in Tampa, Habitat Hillsborough is honored to have him serve on its board of directors.

Jessica Werckman

Jessica Werckman

Board Member

Jessica Werckman is the Executive Vice President for GIGA Solutions, specializing in commercial insurance, and oversees U.S. marketing, service, and operations for the agency. Prior to joining GIGA, Ms. Werckman served as the Executive Vice President of Trigen Insurance Solutions.
As a consultant, Ms. Werckman owned a social media marketing firm where she created and managed web-based inbound marketing strategies to include social media analysis, monitoring, training, and support for businesses. Ms. Werckman served as the President of Six Points Media Group where she handled the public relations, communications, event planning, web development, and media production services for Patriot National Insurance Group, including its subsidiaries, charities and foundations. Ms. Werckman also served as the Client Services Manager and PEO Senior Account Executive for Patriot National and prior to joining Patriot, was the Director of Corporate Communications and Business Development Manager for Risk Transfer Holdings. She held various leadership positions at Sunwest PEO, Suncoast Staffing, and Robert Half International. Ms. Werckman also served the healthcare industry as a Client Services Manager for a medical manufacturer specializing in wound-care therapy. Ms. Werckman attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, is a Coast Guard veteran, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco County, and served as Vice Chairman of the Board for Habitat for two years prior to becoming the Board Chair. Ms. Werckman is very active in the community and is also on the Board of the Heritage Arts Center Association, performs with Artists for Humanity, volunteers for Feeding America Tampa Bay, helps fundraise for the Benedictine Sisters, and is the Producer of Moonlight & Ivory, helping raise money for scholarships for children in the arts. Ms. Werckman is the proud mother of two children and believes strongly in giving back to the community.
