Group Volunteers
Every year hundreds of companies, churches, schools, and organizations of all kinds come together to help build hope for our neighbors! Volunteering as a group is a great way to connect, build teamwork, and be part of something bigger together. For groups of 5+ please sign up at the link below and someone from the Volunteer Services team will reach out to you. If your group is less than 5 we ask you to sign up individually.

Habitat ReStores
Habitat ReStores are home improvement stores that offer new and gently used appliances, furniture, building materials, and more at a fraction of the retail cost. Each Habitat ReStore is locally owned and operated, and proceeds help build Habitat for Humanity homes. After you are signed into your account select a ReStore location below for more details and opportunities to serve.
Home Construction
No experience is needed! Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, volunteering with Habitat Hillsborough is a rewarding experience helping build and ready a home for a family to move in. These builds happen across Hillsborough county and the location is not updated until 1-2 weeks prior to the event due to constantly changing construction needs.
Home Preservation
Keeping people in their homes is another important area for our Construction team and most Home Preservation projects are referred to us by Code Enforcement. These special projects work with families that are disabled, seniors, or veterans who are unable to care for a part of their home or need accessibility renovations. Projects include things like minor home repairs, building a ramp, landscaping and more. You will also find seasonal projects related to storm repair under this program.
Special Events
Seasonally we have special events that help bring the community together and help fund the homes we build across Hillsborough County. Come bring a warm smile and ready hands to pitch in for a variety of tasks.
Court Related Hours
If you are doing hours related to court (mandated, pre-trial or part of a special program) there is a special process for getting accepted that must be start PRIOR to volunteering. Any hours completed before going through the official onboarding process will be voided. Fill out the form below to get started:
