Homeowner
For Samira Zaidi, home means safety, stability, cherished memories, and family fun time. Owning her own home would provide a secure environment where her family can thrive and create lasting memories together.
Currently, Samira faces significant challenges in her living situation. Her home is in an unsafe area, which compromises her family’s well-being. The lack of space also makes it difficult for her children to play and grow in a comfortable environment. These issues underscore her need for a Habitat home, where safety and space will no longer be concerns.
The biggest challenge for Samira is ensuring her family’s safety while providing enough room for her children, especially her little one, to play freely. Owning a Habitat home would address these challenges by offering a secure and spacious environment where her family can feel safe and comfortable.
Samira was inspired to apply for Habitat for Humanity’s affordable homeownership program due to her low income, which has made it difficult for her to afford a safe home for her family. She sees this program as a beacon of hope for securing a better living situation.
Samira’s living situation was stable until she got divorced, which forced her to move out of her old house and into an apartment complex where she has lived since June 2017. Financial constraints have prevented her from moving to a better neighborhood, making Habitat for Humanity’s program a vital opportunity for her family’s future.
For Samira, a home is synonymous with safety, stability, and the ability to create precious family memories. She values the peace of mind that comes with knowing her family is secure and the joy that comes from spending quality time together in a comfortable environment. A Habitat home will provide the safe and spacious haven that Samira and her children need to flourish.
Samira is deeply grateful to the volunteers and corporate sponsors who make Habitat for Humanity’s mission possible. She expresses her heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who helps build her new home, saying, “God bless you all.” The generosity and hard work of these dedicated individuals are making her dream of homeownership a reality, providing her family with the safety and stability they deserve.
