Habitat Hillsborough welcomes two families to their new Temple Terrace homes

TEMPLE TERRACE — Recent Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough County volunteer builds culminated in home dedications for two Tampa residents. The nonprofit celebrated the families of Teresa Davila and Tammy Bush-Jordan moving into their new Habitat homes on July 28 in Temple Terrace. After completing qualifications to purchase affordable homes through Habitat Hillsborough’s home ownership program, the new homeowners contributed a minimum 300 hours each in “sweat equity” toward the builds alongside Habitat volunteers.
